It's time again to vote in the National Television Awards. This is the 'longlist'. Shortlist voting will happen in the new year. We have to make sure Strictly gets on the shortlist!

Strictly Come Dancing is listed in the Talent Show category, up against Britain's Got Talent, Dancing On Ice, Got To Dance, Let's Dance For Comic Relief, Popstar To Operastar, So You Think You Can Dance and The X Factor.

It's interesting that half of the shows shortlisted are dance shows. That is the "Strictly Effect" in operation!

Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly are also both nominated for Entertainment Presenter (alongside Alex Jones).
