Injured Skier Was In Strictly Talks

Chemmy Alcott, a British skier, is trying to battle back to health after her leg was shattered in a skiing accident so that she can take part in Strictly.

According to the Daily Mail, Chemmy was in talks to participate in Strictly this year just weeks before the accident, and that their offer still remains despite what has happened.

A source said: "Chemmy says she is determined to make it on to Strictly. She says she wants something good to come out of all of this."

The accident left her with nine screws and a metal plate in her leg.
