The Cowell Doth Protest Too Much

For a man whose show gets more viewers than Strictly, Simon Cowell still seems unnecessarily concerned with it.

DigitalSpy quotes the singer corner judge: "Don't forget that within that [four hours of singing corner final this Saturday] there is an hour-and-a-half of Strictly which everyone's got to bear, but no-one's watching it. By the way, who won Strictly this year? Is it still on?"

He contradicts himself mid-sentance!

For goodness sake, Simon. Just be happy that your show gets more viewers and be gracious in victory, instead of exposing yourself as a petty, competative brat.
