Confirmed: Tony Jacklin, Rachel Riley & Abbey Clancy

Golfer Tony Jacklin, Countdown letters girl Rachel Riley and model Abbey Clancy have all been confirmed to take part in this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Tony Jacklin CBE is a friend of Sir Bruce. He has won two major tournaments, The Open in 1969 and the US Open in 1970, and a total of 28 professional championships.

Rachel Riley follows in fellow Countdown girl Carol Voderman's footsepts onto the dancefloor. Rachel joined Countdown in 2009, and also co-presents The Gadget Show on Channel 5.

 

Abbey Clancy is a model and WAG, having married Peter Crouch in 2011. Strictly is not Abbey's first attempt at 'reality' TV. She was propelled to fame on Britain's Next Top Model.
