Penny Lancaster-Stewart took the Sunday Mirror around set yesterday, to see what life is like for a Strictly participant.

My favourite part is what Ian tells her to calm her nerves: "Don't worry, you're in my arms, you're safe". So cute.

I love what Penny says about her youn son Alastair, too: "He loves the show but he's too young to come to the studio. But he skips round the kitchen when the theme music comes on. He's a proper little performer - like dad."
