Eamonn & Ruth Wanted For Strictly

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are keen to sign This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford up for the next series. But despite being a fan of the show, Eamonn doesn't want to do it and has already turned it down.

A source told the Daily Mirror: “They are hugely popular with viewers. Watching them bickering and competing against each other would be TV gold. We’re hoping Ruth will work on Eamonn and persuade him. But so far he’s digging his heels in.”

This Morning reporter and Strictly star Alison Hammond confirmed the rumour, telling the paper: “Ruth really wants to do Strictly - and I really hope they get her, because she’d be brilliant. They have asked Eamonn to do it a few times - and he’s said no. I didn’t think I knew a celebrity who wouldn’t want to do it."
