New Studio Caused Delays

Filming of last week's lunch show didn't end until about 11pm, and while some blamed Sir Bruce for the delays, others claimed the unfamiliar studios were to blame.

Insiders claimed that Sir Bruce was "clearly tired", strugling to take directions and deliver lines.

But a source defended Sir Bruce, telling Heatworld: "This was our first time in Elstree Studios, so other factors to consider were sound issues and camera positions. Every other Strictly show is live and our presenters have no difficulty. Bruce had no more pick-ups [when presenters are asked to repeat their line] than Tess did and the music performances were recorded twice. This was all done to make the best possible show for the audience."
