Opening Night In Doubt
The opening night of Vincent & Flavia's Midnight Tango tour was in doubt last night, as Vincent was refused entry into Jersey.
Channel Islands immigration officials held Vincent for questioning, pending further investigation into a visit to the Falklands in 2006.
A source said: "Vincent & Flavia travel to Argentina all the time for dance and work, but Vincent's trip to the Falklands raised some concern. Vincent is co-operating with authorities." A theatre spokesman said that he fully expected tonight's performance to go ahead, but that a formal announcement would be made at noon today.

It is really nice knowing that you are going to a country to practise the most fantastic, sensual and classical dance which turnes to be tango. When I travelled to Arentina, I did it for the same purpose. I got an apartment for rent in buenos aires in downtown. I couldnĀ“t believe how many tango schools there were. It is also strange to see that most of the students are foreigners. Argentineans, I think, enjoy other rhythms too nowadays.
