New Role For Karen?
Thankfully, it doesn't look like we've seen the last of Karen Hardy on Strictly Come Dancing.
According to the ageism-obsessed Mirror, Karen is likely to be given another part to play.
Karen told the paper: "I'm discussing new ways I can be involved in the show this year and pursue a number of other exciting opportunities."
A BBC spokesperson confirmed this: "The decision to change Karen's role has nothing to do with age. We are in discussions with her as to what her new role will be."

i am discusted with the treatment of arlene phillips by the b.b.c.and now it seems that karen hardy is also going if millions of viewers of this show will do the same as i intend to do and switch of in protest the b.b.c may recognise the strength of feeling amongst the people who pay their license fee and realize the potential power of these people who are the fair minded viewing public. To be honest, Lou, I'm fizzing about this. Karen is one of the best dancers and she's being sidelined for some reason to make way for what the tabloids describe as a "sexy Lithuanian" who's 14 years younger. I despair of the BBC. Anton, who according to the Daily Fail has been 42 for the last 4 years, is still going strong. While I adore Anton, and wouldn't want him to be cut out, I think Karen should still be there. Who can forget her legendary partnership with Bill and her stunning salsa and Argentine Tango with Ramps?
