Lesson 33

The beginners class didn't seem quite so uncomfortably rammed this week.

We continued with the tango and rumba, adding on some more.

In the second class, we continued with the slip pivot, Viennese crosses tango extravaganza from last week, removing the contra check and ronde, and adding lunges and a Spanish drag.

We then did pivots in paso, which was lost on many people (including me, of course!), especially with the breakneck speed of the music. I might have been OK if I didn't keep fiddling feet on my heel turns. Too much time spend doing that bloody foxtrot on Tuesdays means I'm a bit one footed. I'm too used to doing heel turns to the left. Not good when we were required to do them to the right. Doh!

Anton has suggested doing paso in beginners. I haven't done nearly enough paso, and I've never done paso with him. He's going to regret opening his mouth...
