Strictly Dance-Off
Many of you may have read in the TV listings mags that the participants are in for a surprise this week.
Well according to a BBC press release which announced Carol and Matthew's departure, the bottom two will face a dance-off this week.
"The two couples scoring bottom with the judges and the viewers next week (9 December) will face a dance off.
They will perform their best dance of the night once again for the judges and viewers' vote. The phone lines will re-open and the lowest scoring couple will be eliminated."
It is unclear from this, but it implies that they will be re-scored by the judges. Or perhaps the judges will have to name which one they want to stay. Will the viewers votes be rolled over, or will they be reset to zero? So many questions. Let's hope the BBC Webiste will reveal more later in the week.

Hmmm, the Radio Times is still suggesting that the final is on the 23rd, so something's going to have to extend it by a week. Maybe the dance-off itself will take place on the 16th? Unless they'll go down to two couples, but that seems unlikely.

Who knows? Maybe they'll have a dance off this week, and then still tell them that... "No-one's leaving tonight, ta-daa!".
Who knows?

I'm only bothered because I know I'm out on the 16th :-) Am convinced there's a conspiracy underfoot to pull the final back to then :-)

'underfoot'? That was entirely the wrong word. I think I need to go to bed.
