Ricky Whittle May Need A Tan

Ricky Whittle has so far delined invitations to get a spray tan, but is now staring to worry that he might start loooking a bit pale next to his fellow participants.

He joked to the Liverpool Echo: "They asked me if I wanted some fake tan. The other contestants in Strictly wear it so now I'm the whitest in the show, even though I'm black. I'm thinking I may have to start wearing it!"

Ricky is obviously comfortable in his masculinity, as he's enjoying the costumes: "I'm loving the costumes, the more sparkles the better. It makes you feel the part, I wouldn't get into the routines as much if I was dancing in jeans and trainers. But I was glad I didn't have to wear pink last week, I'd worn it for two weeks running."
