Goughie's Verdict

Former Strictly champion Darren Gough has been chatting to the Daily Mirror about his early impressions.

He things the girls are in charge so far: "I'll be very surprised if a woman doesn't waltz away with the title this year."

His money is on Rachel, Tom and Austin: "I reckon Rachel Stevens and Vincent Simone will be the ones to beat - she will definitely get all the boys' votes!... I reckon Tom Chambers is the best of the boys - him and Austin Healey. As for John Sergeant, he has the 'feel sorry for me' vote so he should be in for a few more weeks."
