Cherie: Dancing Is The Best Antidepressant In The World”
Cherie Longhi was interviewed in the Daily Telegraph this week. She is very excited to be participating in Strictly Come Dancing, and is passionate about dance.
She says: “When I was a little girl I did a lot of ballet. At weddings, I’m always first on the dancefloor – and the last to leave it, if I’m really having a good time. Dancing is the best antidepressant in the world.”
Cherie says she's getting on well with James: “James has a reputation for being quite strict. But I haven’t come across that yet. He’s demanding, as any teacher should be. His competitiveness will probably come out a bit later.”
And Cherie would back Bruce to run the country: “I could see Brucie winning an election, he’s so popular. He’d certainly be more fun than Gordon Brown. It’d be great to have a leader who could tap-dance.”
Amen to that!
