Harry Defends Aliona
Harry Judd has defended his Strictly partner Aliona Vilani, who was initially axed from the show before being drafted in to replace an injured Natalie Lowe.
Harry told the Daily Mirror: “Viewers get to know and love the stars so it was silly to get rid of the dancers this time for new ones we don’t know. I’ve no idea who some of these dancers are now or why bosses alter things the way they do. There was some amazing talent when I won. I was especially upset for Aliona when she went. She was incredible. She’s back now but I don’t know why they got rid of her in the first place.”
Despite what the article implies, Aliona was the only one who was not asked to return. Vincent, Flavia and Erin all decided to call it a day themselves, and therefore had to be replaced. But thanks anyway, Harry.
