Iveta Lukosiute Steps In For Injured Aliona

Being away, I'm a little out of the loop, and I've just seen the news that Aliona Vilani has fractured her ankle.

As Rentapro (Brendan) is still in the competition, Ian Waite temporarily stepped in to help out Johnny.

Johnny told the BBC Strictly Blog: “[Aliona] just went ‘ahhh’ when we were doing this sideways step; she‘d gone over on her ankle. It’s very sad because we were getting to the point where we were just dealing with technicalities in the routine and it was going so well. There’s been a X-ray now and it seems like it’s a hairline fracture. They can take quite a while to heal especially for a dancer when she has to put her foot through what it goes through. It's so sad..."

Aliona will be out for at least two weeks, so Johnny has a new face to look after him, Iveta Lukosiute.
