Ann Hasn't Stopped Dancing Yet

Despite the Strictly tour being over, Ann hasn't hung up her dancing shoes just yet.

She danced with fellow-Strictly fan Peter Mandleson at a charity quiz night.

Next! Anita Dobson...

Antia Dobson has turned down Strictly Come Dancing twice, as she doesn't want to put herself out there.

The former EastEnders actress told the Press Association: "I've been asked twice, but I don't want to go in front of the judges. I love dancing and I'd never say never, but I don't want all the pressure of being told that you're not doing very well and people don't like you! It becomes too personal. If I could do it as a character, I'd do it in a nanosecond, but with Strictly, it's you under the spotlight, and I'm very private."

Alesha Wants Lily And Kimberly

Alesha Dixon would like Lily Allen and Kimberly Walsh become Strictly judges.

She told the Daily Star: “Lily would be great on the Strictly panel. She’s said before she loves it and I think she’d be a brilliant judge. I’d quite like to see Kimberley Walsh on the Strictly panel too.”

Well, if you want to make space Alesha, feel free...

Bruce: Shut Up About Knighthood

Bruce Fortyth believes that if people stopped calling for him to get a knighthood then it might happen.

Tess Daly revealed to The Mirror: “Brucie believes if everyone shuts up about it he’ll get it. But he should have got it years ago."

Beeb Boss Backs Brucie

The new controller of BBC One is standing by Brucie as host of Strictly Come Dancing, amid tabloid rumours that he could be replaced by John Barrowman or Vernon Kay.

Danny Cohen told The Mirror: “Bruce is a great entertainer and if he wants to keep doing Strictly, the job is his. He is on holiday at the moment but when he gets back we will sit down and discuss things. All the speculation about other presenters is confusing, because we haven’t approached anyone else. That is the truth. We will be speaking to Bruce when he gets back.”

Congratulations Gethin!

Congratulations to former Strictly participant Gethin Jones, who got engaged to Katherine Jenkins last month.

The pair met on the Strictly set when Gethin was a contestant and Katherine was a musical guest. They plan to marry next year, according to the Mail On Sunday.
