Strictly Make-Up Range
You might remember a couple of weeks ago that I mentioned the Strictly make-up range.
Well, the lovely people at Boots sent me a couple of the products to try for myself.
All of the items are themed with a glitterball finish on the top of the pots. The kit consists of two eye shimmers in gold and silver, shimmer beads with a big brush and a lipstick. The eye shimmers are great. They went on pretty well, and have just the right amount of glitter for a nighttime look, without being over the top. The body shimmer bronzer is good, although I found it was better if I removed the plastic over, and picked up the colour straight from the beads. The lipstick happened to be similar to the colour I usually wear, so I liked it. The nice touch is that the lipstick is cut like a glitterball. This pack retails for £18.

First up, the Strictly Fab-u-lous Lip Gloss Collection.
There are three lip glosses, all in cute flip-top 'glitterballs'. One is almost clear white, which gives your lips a hit of glitter. There is a nude one which Claudia would be proud of, and a red for a nighttime look. I usually don't like lip gloss because I find it too sticky, but this go on really smoothly and feel more like lip balms on your lips. These are great for anyone for a subtle look. I think would be great for younger girls who want a touch of glam, but are not old enough for proper make-up. The glitterball packaging is really nice. They retail for £6. A fab, inexpensive stocking filler.
I also got to test out the Strictly Beautiful Shimmer Collection.

Creator of the range, Strictly make-up artist Lisa Armstrong, said of the range: “If you’re a fan of Strictly Come Dancing and want to sizzle on the dancefloor, it’s important to have make-up which sparkles. The collaboration really brings the Strictly magic to life!”
