Mark Reflects

Mark Foster has been reflecting on his time on Strictly, and admits that he is "gutted" to be out of the competition.

He told the Echo: “I’m gutted to have left, but at the end of the day, I didn’t even expect to make it past the first few weeks. I was starting from scratch, I really couldn’t dance a step before the show and that did put me at a bit of a disadvantage as many of the other contestants had dance experience.”

He has been enjoying the attention that comes with being a participant on the show: “It’s really flattering to get all this attention. I don’t read websites much, but It’s very lovely to have nice messages of support. A lot of people have been coming up to me in the street for autographs over the past few weeks. It’s weird. People seem to know me as a dancer rather than a swimmer.”
