The First Bore Weeks

The first four weeks of Strictly Come Dancing will be a bit of a snoozefest, as we have four weeks of only one sex dancing before the competition begins in ernest.

According to the BBC Press Office, the boys are up first dancing the walz or cha cha. In Week 2, the girls have a go at the foxtrot (harsh so early on!) or salsa. The process is repeated with different dances in Weeks 3 and 4 before the competition finally gets going on 18th October!

A whole month? It's been rubbish to endure in the past couple of years, and it's going to be worse now. They are going to kill it!
