No Dancing In Albert Square

The Sun reports that the cast of EastEnders have been banned from taking part in Strictly Come Dancing, becuase the series is too long.

I can understand their point of view. Matt Di Angelo found balancing EastEnders and Strictly training difficult at times, especially as he was filming his emotional final scenes in the show. Both shows are very demanding and require huge commitment.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star reports that former EastEnder Joe Swash has been approached to take part in the new series. The paper reports that Swash had already been approached by Dancing On Ice, but turned them down when Strictly came a-knocking. Good lad!
