DanceX: Week 3

I liked Team Arlene’s routine to They, I thought the choreography was excellent. But Team Bruno were better performers.

The singing numbers still leave me cold. If I wanted to watch a singing competition, I would watch that drivel on ITV1 in the autumn. Of course, Team Bruno were the better singing group, because Claire carries them on the singing, even if she doesn’t pull her weight as a dancer. I don’t buy Emanuel as a lead singer yet in Team Arlene.

I was as shocked as everyone else that Team Arlene came out on top.

I totally disagreed with Bruno’s decision to axe Becky in favour of Daniele. I know exactly why he did it. It’s much easier to choreograph three boys and three girls than two boys and four girls. But Becky was a much stronger dancer in my opinion. Still, what would a dance show be without controversy?
